Stargazing Night with Dr. Danny Faulkner (UPDATED)

If you’ve seen the movie Is Genesis History?, then you may remember Dr. Danny Faulkner, the PhD astronomer featured in the film. We are excited to host Danny at our place, the B-Lazy Ranch, on Saturday, April 11, for a special stargazing night. Dr. Faulkner will lead the evening, and we’ve rented a couple of large telescopes for the event. Since we live out in the country, the light pollution is much lower than in the city, which should make for a great night of sky watching. The fun begins around 7:30pm at 2346 S Ulm St, Watkins, CO 80137. If you have your own telescope, please bring it along too.
* We will NOT call off the event! In case of rain, we will move up the road a few houses to an indoor venue
* Bring a jacket, sturdy shoes, and lawn chairs if you have them (we do have some seating already available)
* The last 1.5 miles is gravel road past the end of county maintenance
